Foster Parent Core Training Class
The Foster Parent Core Training Class is a one and a half day class starting Wednesday April 10th from 9:00 AM -4:00 PM
and Thursday April 11th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Participants will learn all the essentials to becoming a Foster Parent in Chaffee County. Topics cover: Cultural Considerations; Legalities; Parenting issues; Rights and Responsibilities; Impacts of Trauma and more
Participants will also receive 12 credit hours toward Colorado Foster Parent State Certification.
The class is free – all materials and meals provided by Chaffee County DHS
